Job DescriptionJob Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Bilingual Quality Assurance Operations Manager to lead our quality and food safety initiatives within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has proven managerial experience in a production environment and a deep commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
· Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead the Quality Assurance team, ensuring effective execution of all QA policies and procedures.
· Food Safety Compliance: Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of all food safety programs, including HACCP, prerequisite programs, and sanitation processes.
· Regulatory & SQF Management: Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety regulations. SQF Practitioner experience is highly desirable to manage our certification and audit readiness.
· Manufacturing Integration: Collaborate closely with the Production and Operations teams to monitor manufacturing processes, identify quality risks, and drive continuous improvement.
· Documentation & Data: Manage all quality and food safety data entry, record keeping, and documentation. This includes internal audits, corrective actions, and supplier certification records.
· Bilingual Communication: Effectively communicate quality and safety standards, training materials, and audit findings to our diverse workforce, requiring fluency in English and Spanish.
Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the food or beverage industry.
· Technical Expertise: Strong background in Food Safety systems and regulations.
· SQF: SQF Practitioner certification or demonstrated knowledge of managing SQF standards is a significant asset.
· : Must be fully bilingual (written and verbal) in English and Spanish
· Skills: Excellent organizational skills, proficiency in data entry, record keeping, and using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for reporting and documentation.
