We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic with a strong background in electrical systems to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. Experience working with encapsulation machinery is highly . This role is essential to maintaining production efficiency and ensuring all machinery operates safely and reliably.

Location: Miramar, FL
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Hourly Rate: $22/hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Technical School Certification (two-year technical degree )

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and packaging environments, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry

• Solid working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, welding, HVAC, and compressor systems

• Familiarity with PLC systems and troubleshooting

• Must be flexible and available to work nights and weekends if required

• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a diverse work environment

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of plant machinery and equipment

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, including repairs to encapsulation equipment when applicable

• Conduct trial test runs and ensure machinery operates within specified parameters

• Install, assemble, and test new machinery or replacement components

• Adjust and calibrate machine components for optimal performance

• Follow all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety standards, and hygiene protocols

• Maintain accurate preventive and corrective maintenance records and documentation

• Operate power tools and shop equipment to support repair and modification tasks

• Assist with the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
