About this role:

We are looking for a Bilingual Electrical Recruiter (English/Spanish) who excels at building strong relationships in the field and proactively sourcing top talent throughout the DFW area. This role isn't limited to posting jobs- it's about getting into the market, meeting candidates where they are and building trusted pipelines of skilled electrical and field service professionals to support our growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Field Recruiting
    • Spend significant time in the field across the DFW area, engaging with candidates directly where they live and work (construction sites, trade schools, community events, and local businesses).
    • Build awareness of our company and open roles through grassroots efforts—flyers, referrals, community boards, and in-person networking.
  • Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
    • Actively identify, attract, and maintain pipelines of skilled electrical, petroleum service, and technical trade candidates.
    • Leverage multiple sourcing strategies, including in-person networking, referrals, digital platforms, and community partnerships, to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
    • Anticipate hiring needs and build relationships with passive candidates to fill roles quickly when demand increases.
  • Bilingual Candidate Engagement
    • Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish to ensure accessibility to a broader candidate pool.
    • Provide a seamless candidate experience for Spanish-speaking applicants, from first contact through onboarding.
    • Translate job postings, flyers, and communications as needed to ensure outreach is effective in both .
  • Hiring Manager Partnership
    • Partner closely with branch leaders, field managers, and project supervisors to understand workforce gaps and hiring priorities.
    • Provide market intelligence (wage trends, candidate availability, competitor activity) to advise hiring strategies.
    • Collaborate on workforce planning, ensuring recruiting aligns with upcoming projects and seasonal demand.
  • Community Outreach & Brand Building
    • Represent the company at local trade schools, SkillsUSA events, veteran programs, job fairs, and workforce development boards.
    • Build partnerships with community leaders, technical instructors, and career counselors to become the “go-to recruiter” for electrical talent in DFW.
    • Promote our employer brand as a top destination for skilled tradespeople by highlighting our training programs, safety culture, and career growth opportunities.
  • Candidate Experience & Full-Cycle Recruitment
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating skills assessments, extending offers, and facilitating pre-employment steps.
    • Ensure every candidate interaction is timely, professional, and engaging—regardless of outcome.
    • Guide candidates through onboarding and handoff to HR/field leadership to ensure a smooth start.
  • Data, Reporting & Compliance
    • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and generate weekly reports on sourcing activity, field outreach, and hiring progress.
    • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and conversion rates to measure success and refine strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in the construction, electrical, skill trades industry OR if you have hands-on electrical experience who's interested in pivoting to a recruiter role
  • Must be bilingual- fluent in English and Spanish (both oral and written)
  • Strong knowledge of field recruiting, sourcing strategies and workforce engagement
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Drive to recruit out in the field promoting OWL Services as an employer of choice
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and previous ATS experience
