BESS Project Manager (m/f/d)
SR2 are currently supporting a BESS Specialist in Munich who have been a pioneer in grid-supported large-scale battery storage projects for over 10 years. Working across Project Development, Engineering, Implementation and Operations their systems stabilize the grid, create flexibility, and ensure a climate-neutral energy supply. To strengthen their Delivery & Engineering department, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) . In this role, you will assume overall technical and economic responsibility for the successful planning and implementation of our large-scale storage projects.
Your tasks:
- Independent management of complex BESS projects – from the concept phase to commissioning
- Management of time, budget and resource plans in close coordination with Development, Engineering and Purchasing
- Technical and economic coordination of all project phases: engineering, procurement, construction and acceptance
- Ensuring cost, schedule and quality targets are met in accordance with technical standards (VDE, IEC)
- Leading interdisciplinary project teams and managing external partners and service providers
- Active risk, change and claim management as well as regular reporting
- Close collaboration with Finance, Legal and Operations for a smooth project handover
Your profile:
- Study of electrical engineering, energy technology or industrial engineering
- Several years of experience in technical project management (energy or plant engineering)
- Good knowledge of project management methods (e.g. PMI, IPMA) and tools (MS Project, Jira)
- Experience in budget, risk and quality management
- Structured, solution-oriented and assertive work style
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Willingness to travel, especially during the construction and commissioning phases
- Yearly Salary up to €110,000
