TAT-Technologies Tulsa Site in Tulsa, OK is looking for an experienced Bench mechanic / Air Test Pressure (ATP) Technician for our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) operations.

Responsibilities

Bench Mechanic responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Perform on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs
  • Assist in retaining and maintaining all on-site records in both hard copy and electronic form
  • Continuously update and utilize an electronic, online maintenance tracking mechanism to allow for efficient maintenance planning, time limit item tracking
  • Adhere to company policies including all safety compliances
  • Manages material readiness, inventory and accountability of all maintenance related materials, specifically aviation parts, and tooling
  • Read and understand Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, and Structural Repair Manuals

Air Test Pressure (AT) Technician responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Prepare parts for welding, performing dimensional checks, monitoring parameters, and testing
  • Bench Mechanic- Air Test pressure (ATP) Technician will be expected to read and follow written instruction in the form of job specific work orders as well as customer process specifications as necessary for the successful completion of all interrelated tasks in accordance with defined requirements
  • Perform on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs
  • Perform air or water pressure leak test and flow testing
  • Visually inspect, clean, polish, and prepare cores for shipping
  • Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Maintain established standards of quality, productivity & attendance
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent
  • 2 or more years mechanical experience
  • Must be able to work 1st shift hours typically 6:30am to 3pm with overtime and weekends as business need demands
  • Must be able to accomplish any and all duties with little or no assistance following new employee training
  • Must have good command of the English ; oral and written
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented
  • Must be able to display good judgement regarding quality & safety
  • Must be willing and able to learn and apply new skills
  • Working knowledge and ability to do industrial math calculations and work to tight tolerances
  • Must be able to perform physical requirements: ability to stand for 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must have the ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing, random drug testing as required as a Department of Transportation (DOT) facility regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
  • Must have the ability to pass pre-hire background check screening
