Job Overview
We are seeking a fully licensed Behavioral Health Assessor and Treatment Planner to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring clients receive timely, high-quality care.

$1,000 Signing Bonus offered to qualified candidates within 30-days of employment.

Duties

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations using DSM criteria.
  • Develop person-centered individualized treatment plans aligned with DBHDD and Medicaid standards.
  • Identify client needs, risk factors, and service eligibility,
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and external providers.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress or emergencies.
  • Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their history and needs.
  • Provide home and community care services as necessary, supporting clients in their natural environments.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and ongoing training.

Skills

  • Proficient in DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Cultural competence and trauma-informed care approach.

Requirements

  • Must be fully licensed in Georgia as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • Strong clinical writing and assessment skills
  • Familiarity with Medicaid documentation and DBHDD standards
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within service areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
