Position: Battery Modelling & Simulation Engineer Location: Coventry Position Type: Permanent Contechs is recruiting for the world's leading mobility technology company for engineering & simulation to work in their busy company. They are seeking an experienced Battery Modelling & Simulation Engineer on a Permanent basis. The role will be based in Leamington Spa YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support system analysis projects, across internal and customer opportunities covering a range of battery and powertrain concepts * Perform data processing and analysis, with reporting to internal and customer teams and management * Develop battery models and perform thermal/electrical simulation activities * Carry out analysis using 1-D and 3-D modelling techniques as applicable * Present results and recommendation of analysis to stakeholders Skills required: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering area (Mechanical, Automotive, Electric/Electronics) * Understanding of automotive electrification performance and fundamentals for future and emerging powertrain technologies * Experience in battery modelling and simulation, model correlation & validation against test data * Experience in MATLAB / Simulink / Simscape Why work through Contechs?
