Department: Production

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

About the Role:



We are seeking an experienced Base Maintenance Manager to join our clients senior leadership team . This is a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in both Base and Line Maintenance Management, operating in full compliance with MOE 1.4.3.



You will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, delivery of high-quality outputs, and effective leadership of teams and processes.



Key Responsibilities



Oversee and certify all contracted operator and customer maintenance in line with approved specifications, work orders, and MOE procedures.



Ensure subcontracted and internal workshop activities are properly detailed, monitored, and delivered to agreed standards.



Provide feedback to compliance monitoring regarding third-party services.



Address and resolve quality issues identified through independent audits.



Guarantee that all outputs meet company standards, our customers, and regulatory bodies (UK CAA and EASA).



Fulfil Emergency Response Plan duties as defined in the Safety Management Manual.



Notify the competent authority of maintenance activities performed outside approved locations, in line with MOE procedures.



Manage the Compliance and Safety Management Department, ensuring adequate resources for monitoring regulatory compliance.



Support AOG enquiries, managing them effectively to minimise disruption.



Ensure base maintenance facilities remain fully compliant with Part 145 regulations.



Maintain and update the MOE in accordance with EASA and UK CAA requirements



Experience required:

Extensive management experience in Base and Line maintenance to Part 145 regulatory standards.

Eligibility to hold a UK CAA Form 4 and EASA Nominated Person approval.

A current UK CAA or EASA Part-66 AML (B1 or B2 with C rating).

Strong working knowledge of aviation safety, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (EASA Part 145, 66, M, SMS).

Licensed Aircraft Engineer background with Degree/HND or equivalent experience.
