Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Controls Programmer to join a growing HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical services team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled BAS/BMS programmer with strong experience using the Niagara N4 platform. This role involves programming and troubleshooting HVAC controllers, creating front-end graphics for building automation systems, and preparing project wire sheets and equipment
submittals.

Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot HVAC controllers
• Create front-end graphics for building automation systems
• Develop wire sheets and project documentation
• Prepare equipment submittals
• Troubleshoot controller functions and system operations
• Assist with minor in-house panel builds
• Collaborate with engineering, field, and project management teams
• Support testing and commissioning of building automation systems

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of active programming experience on Tridium Niagara controllers such as Honeywell, Distech, or similar platforms
• Tridium Niagara N4/AX Programming Certification required
• Commercial HVAC controls experience
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, wire diagrams, control schematics, mechanical drawings, and specification documents
• Understanding of commercial HVAC equipment sequencing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Experience with testing and commissioning BAS/BMS systems
• Knowledge of BACnet, LonWorks, and Modbus protocols
• Direct Digital Controls (DDC) experience
• Ability to review and audit work completed by junior team members
• IP networking knowledge
