Oxford Solutions is working with a leading banking and financial institution looking to fill a role for a Procurement and Vendor Management Manager.

This role blends strategic thinking with tactical execution, requiring a strong grasp of vendor risk, procurement operations, and contract negotiation. You’ll partner with leaders across Legal, Risk, Audit, and Operations while managing a Procurement Analyst and helping to mature the bank’s procurement framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize Bank-wide procurement and vendor management processes
• Oversee vendor selection, onboarding, contract negotiation, and performance tracking
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and vendor risk standards
• Collaborate with enterprise teams (Legal, Risk, Audit, Tech) on procurement-related initiatives
• Drive process improvements and reporting, including SLAs and KPIs
• Stay current on vendor-related risks 

Requirements

• 5+ years of procurement/vendor management experience in financial services
• Experience overseeing procurement processes across multiple departments
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; able to balance strategic and tactical needs
• Legal/contract negotiation background and comfort with technology contracts a plus
• Management or team lead experience required
• Familiarity with enterprise risk, internal controls, and procurement best practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Tableau a plus
