Job Description

• Operates dynamic balance machine to locate points of imbalance on parts
• Remove metal from heavy side, or welds to correct imbalance, using power drills and grinders
• Install, use or put accurately the suitable and correct materials as counterweights in accordance with the rotary components
• Operate Schenck balancing machine or similar machine and maintain according to the machine manufacturer’s recommendation 
• Perform works with a high degree of accuracy and precision according to instruction and standard specification 
• Install, use or put accurately the suitable and correct materials as counterweights in accordance with the rotary components 
• Prepare estimate and sketch showing the size/dimensions of the required shafting and inspection of rotary component for balancing possibilities

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience with training certificate from a reputable balancing machine manufacturer
• Ability to read blueprints and understand machining methodology
• Aerospace product knowledge a plus
• Schenck Balancing & Diagnostic Systems a plus
• Education - College degree or equivalent a plus
• Must be a U.S. or lawful permanent
