We're seeking a part time Team Member to help us complete backflow testing and repairs. Ultimately, you will be responsible for driving (vehicle provided) to various locations across Florida (most sites are located in Central Florida) and completing backflow tests and repairs in which you would receive training for. Pay is dependent on experience and existing licenses/certifications.
You will also make sure that all reports from the backflow inspections/repairs are turned into the office (electronically or physically) upon completion. Strong mobility and movement skills are essential to be able to complete the tasks of the jobs. We ask that there are no previous injuries to back, knees, or hands as the job may become strenuous to these previously injured parts. You will need to be able to bend, squat, kneel and lift heavy objects.
We will be unable to accept applicants with any license suspensions or DUI's within the last 5 years as well as any applicants with any tickets or citations within the last 3 years.
As a Backflow technician, you'll be working closely with your team members to ensure each job is completed correctly and efficiently. The job involves hooking up gauges to devices and obtaining and recording the pressure reads. The job also involves completing repairs that involve taking apart backflow devices, replacing parts, and reassembling the device.
We are looking for someone to work approximately 10 hour days for 3-4 days out of the week: Tuesday-Thursday with Fridays on and off depending on schedule work load. Candidate will have the weekends as well as major holidays off.
