Role Overview:
As an Azure Infrastructure Analyst, you will play a key role within Solidsoft Reply's Support & Operations team, ensuring the stability, scalability, security, and resilience of customer systems running on the Azure platform. You will manage escalated issues and proactively identify, investigate, and resolve problems within critical custom healthcare infrastructures that leverage cutting-edge Microsoft Azure technologies. The role involves close collaboration with both international customers and internal teams, requiring strong interpersonal skills to discuss complex technical topics and provide exceptional service support. You will also participate in planning and implementing system changes in line with ITIL and GAMP5 processes, and may be required to work out-of-hours or on a shift rota.
Responsibilities:
- Provide infrastructure support for Solidsoft Reply Healthcare Managed Service Customers as part of the Support & Operations team.
- Take ownership of assigned incidents, managing them through to permanent resolution and communicating professionally with customers.
- Manage and maintain Azure-based infrastructure, including patching, updates, certificate management, and security.
- Act as an escalation point for complex incidents and support distributed microservices architecture and release deployments.
- Monitor, report on, and enhance system performance, including maintaining effective system monitoring solutions.
- Field and resolve technical customer issues via multiple communication channels such as phone, chat, email, and remote sessions.
- Deliver service improvement recommendations, ensuring alignment with business needs, and participate in knowledge transfer and continuous learning.
- Provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis and adhere to Change, Incident, and Problem Management procedures, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
About the Candidate:
- BSc (2:1 or above) or Master's (Merit) in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (ideally with certifications) and supporting Windows Server and cloud-based network infrastructure.
- Proven ability in querying data sources such as Azure Application Insights, Cosmos DB, and SQL Server.
- Solid knowledge of network and data security within support and operations functions for custom applications.
- Familiarity with service management processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, SolarWinds).
- Good understanding of Azure networking, firewall configuration, Azure data services, DevOps practices, and security principals.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills; able to work effectively in a team and with clients.
- Advantageous: ITIL certification, experience in regulated environments (GAMP5), pharmaceutical/health sectors, knowledge of French, and recent operations/NOC/SOC team experience.
