Azure Data Engineer

Job description

​Banking or Financial Services domain is a must in recent years.

The candidate should have expertise in Azure Databricks.

​

Candidate’s responsibilities:

• Develop data software engineering solutions using Azure Databricks and Scala

• Collaborate with the team to ensure project requirements are met

• Participate in customer interviews as needed

• Communicate project status and escalate any project-related issues to management as necessary

Key skills

• Highly experienced in designing and implementing complex data pipelines applying data engineering techniques, using Azure Data Factory, Databricks

• Experienced in development using Scala

• Experienced in performance optimisation on large data set (multi-million records)

• Good problem solving skills

• Good understanding of Azure services

• Collaborative, good communication
  

Nice to have

• Have worked in Agile team, understanding of Agile principles and practices

• Certified Databricks

• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines
