AWS Solution Architect (Manager)

£75,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

My client, a global professional services powerhouse and one of the world's leading providers of Cloud Solutions, are currently in search of an AWS Solution Architect to join their innovative cloud transformation team. Recognised worldwide for business excellence and , they work with tier-1 clients across multiple sectors, helping turn cloud strategy into reality.

The AWS Solution Architect will lead the design and delivery of transformative cloud solutions, working on cutting-edge projects spanning cloud migration, cloud- applications, and AI-powered initiatives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure solutions for some of the world's leading organisations.

Responsibilities of the AWS Solution Architect:

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions that power AI initiatives and business transformation.
• Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects from strategy through to implementation.
• Develop cloud infrastructure architecture, standards, and best practices.
• Optimize cloud costs and performance for complex workloads including GPU-based instances.
• Implement cloud security measures aligned with compliance frameworks (CIS, SOC 2, HIPAA).
• Collaborate with data scientists and development teams to deploy production-ready solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and evaluate new cloud services.

Necessary skills of the AWS Solution Architect:

• AWS certification at Associate or Professional Level (Solutions Architect/DevOps/Developer/SysOps).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
• Deep expertise across AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, and IaC tools (CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Proven track record architecting and leading cloud migration strategies.
• Strong experience with DevOps tooling (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
