Job Title: AWS Infrastructure Engineer (Telecom Domain Required)
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid/On-site Options Available)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in the telecommunications domain to design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevOps practices, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for automated deployments.
• Optimize networking architectures, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, VPNs, and Direct Connect.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack) for proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline deployments and improve system reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and scalability challenges in cloud environments.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices, IAM policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support containerized workloads (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure design and management.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Proficient in scripting & automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Deep understanding of networking in AWS (VPC, Transit Gateway, Load Balancers, Route 53).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions), and configuration management.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS) and serverless computing (Lambda, Fargate).
• Familiarity with security best practices (IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer) are a strong plus.
• Telecom industry experience is required (e.g., working with network services, 5G, OSS/BSS systems).

Skills:

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS + Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Grafana).
• Understanding of telecom protocols (Diameter, SIP, SS7) and cloud- telecom solutions.
