Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect with hands-on expertise in Amazon Bedrock, Agent Core, and DevOps practices to design, build, and scale secure cloud- and GenAI-enabled solutions for a financial services client. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AWS services, cloud security, automation, and CI/CD, along with experience designing solutions in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & DesignDesign and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures aligned with financial industry standards.Lead cloud solution design using AWS Well-Architected Framework (Security, Reliability, Performance, Cost Optimization).Define architecture patterns for microservices, event-driven, and serverless applications.Generative AI & BedrockArchitect and implement Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock.Design and integrate Agent Core–based intelligent agents for business workflows, automation, and decision support.Collaborate with data science and application teams to operationalize LLM-based solutions securely.DevOps & AutomationBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.Enable automated monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.Security & ComplianceEnsure adherence to financial industry compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC2, ISO, data privacy).Architect solutions with IAM, KMS, VPC, encryption, and network security best practices.Perform risk assessments and support audits and governance initiatives.Collaboration & LeadershipAct as a technical leader and advisor to engineering and business stakeholders.Mentor development and DevOps teams on AWS best practices.Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AWS cloud architectureStrong hands-on experience with:Amazon BedrockAgent Core / AI agent frameworksCore AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS/ECSDevOps expertise:CI/CD pipelinesTerraform / CloudFormation / CDKDocker & KubernetesStrong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)Domain ExperienceExperience working with financial services or banking clientsUnderstanding of regulatory, security, and compliance requirementsSoft SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to work in fast-paced, agile environments
Qualifications
AWS Certifications (one or more):AWS Certified Solutions Architect – ProfessionalAWS Certified DevOps EngineerAWS Machine Learning SpecialtyExperience with GenAI governance, prompt engineering, and LLM securityPrior experience in hybrid cloud or multi-account AWS environments
