Location: Dallas, TX| Pay Rate: 37.86/hour | Schedule: Full-Time; 2nd Shift (3pm - 1:30am)
  
About the Role:
Are you ready to lead the charge in advancing aerospace technology? As an Avionics Electrical Technician IV, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of advanced avionics and electrical systems. This high-impact role involves providing expert guidance in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing cutting-edge aircraft systems to maintain peak performance and safety. What You’ll Do:

  • Perform high-level operational tests and troubleshooting of avionics/electrical systems. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring a skilled and safety-conscious workforce.
  • Conduct functional and operational tests on avionics and aircraft systems, ensuring that repairs are made to the highest quality standards and meet engineering specifications.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical/avionics components using best practices such as soldering, splicing, and pinning of wiring.
  • Oversee installations to ensure compliance with engineering changes and modifications. Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed on aircraft.
  • Set up and use test equipment to evaluate system performance and reliability.
  • Enforce safety protocols, maintain FOD, tool control, and 5-S programs, and ensure all operations meet regulatory standards.
  • Work with the team to adjust to sudden changes while keeping projects on track.

 
Qualifications & Requirements:
Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A&P (FAA Airframe & Powerplant) license
  • 6 years of experience in avionics/electrical systems OR 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics + 4 years of experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in avionics testing, troubleshooting, and component repairs
  • Live aircraft experience
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English .
  • Valid Driver's License

:

  • FCC License or NCATT Certification
  • Proficiency in other aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls)
  • APU or engine run qualification
  • Experience in flight testing and aircraft certification

Pay Details: 37.86 per hour
