Were seeking a
highly experienced Aviation Project Manager Civil
to lead complex airport infrastructure projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for a
Professional Civil Engineer
with a passion for aviation, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record managing multi-disciplinary project teams. You'll oversee civil engineering projects on both
airside (runways, taxiways)
and
landside (roadways, utilities)
operations, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Manage
aviation-focused civil engineering projects
from planning through execution while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget.
Lead cross-functional teams and sub-consultants in the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions.
Develop project-specific plans such as
Project Management Plans
and
Quality Management Plans .
Oversee the preparation of proposals, cost estimates, project schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with
FAA design standards
and other regulatory requirements.
Regularly communicate project status to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Participate in financial reporting, invoice reviews, and progress presentations.
Support marketing and business development efforts, including proposal writing and client interviews.
Coach and mentor project team members to support professional growth and project success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Civil Engineering
or a related field (ABET-accredited).
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
with the ability to become licensed in other states within 3 months of hire.
Minimum
10 years of experience
managing civil engineering projects, preferably within aviation infrastructure.
Experience leading
multi-disciplinary engineering teams .
