Job Title: AV Systems Design Engineer (Secret Cleared) Location: On-site Employment Type: Full-Time Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance Estimated Pay Range: $110,000 – $145,000 annually Overview A large, mission-focused systems integrator is seeking an experienced AV Systems Design Engineer to support the design and technical direction of complex, resilient audio/visual systems across multiple programs. This role supports both new system design and operational sustainment efforts, working closely with system engineers, project teams, and end users. You will be responsible for end-to-end AV system design, from requirements gathering and CAD drawings through testing, deployment support, and user training.

Key Responsibilities Create complete AV drawing packages and Bills of Materials using AutoCAD or similar drafting tools Design, test, and support complex AV systems including videoconferencing, displays, video walls, audio reinforcement, control systems, cameras, microphones, and streaming technologies Design AV systems utilizing Crestron, AMX, and Extron control platforms Develop high-level architectural solutions to meet technical, operational, and performance requirements Conduct customer site surveys and provide sales engineering support, including requirements collection, scope development, and system costing Design, test, and troubleshoot AV systems operating over IP and telecommunications networks Interpret plans and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements Develop test plans and execute functional acceptance testing for AV control systems Provide on-site user and administrator training for installed AV systems Manage priorities, schedules, and deliverables across multiple projects and programs Required Skills & Experience ~ Active Secret Clearance ~ One of the following experience/education combinations: ~ Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of AV system design experience ~ Associate degree with 7+ years of AV system design expe...
