Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate diagnosis and repair of vehicle issues using scan tools and visual inspection (Check Engine Light, system faults, etc.).
  • Replace or repair defective components including:
    • Belts, hoses, radiators, sensors, water pumps, starters
    • Suspension systems (control arms, shocks, struts, ball joints)
    • Brake systems (pads, rotors, drums)
    • Air conditioning systems (compressors, evaporators, condensers)
    • Oil leaks, gaskets, seals, and other related engine issues
  • Conduct routine maintenance services:
    • Oil changes, tire rotations, tune-ups
    • Fluid exchanges (transmission, coolant, differential)
  • Deliver high-quality general mechanical repairs on both foreign and domestic vehicles.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members regarding vehicle diagnostics and repair recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and shop protocols.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (ASE Certification is a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to diagnose and solve problems effectively
  • Proficiency with tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid drivers license required
  • Texas State inspector license is a plus
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
