Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Major Automotive is a family-owned shop in Downtown Plano seeking an experienced Automotive Technician. We provide a professional environment with the tools, training, and support needed to help you excel. Our technicians are valued and rewarded, and most regularly exceed 200 hours per month.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs including brakes, suspension, cooling, engine, and other systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues
• Present findings and recommendations to service advisors
• Road test vehicles to ensure quality and safety
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Communicate effectively with team members

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience at a professional repair facility
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
• Strong reading and writing skills
• Efficient and thorough; commission-based position
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude

Skills:

• Expertise in automotive specialties
• Diagnostic and electrical capabilities
