Automotive Technician / Mechanic – Hawthorne Auto Square
Location: Hawthorne, CA
Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time (40 – 45 hours per week)

Hawthorne Auto Square is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to become part of our team! If you have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a professional shop and take pride in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing With The Team:

• Diagnose and repair various automotive issues, including engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension failures
• Perform R&R on motors and transmissions, timing belts, water pumps, valve gaskets and more
• Troubleshoot no-start issues, overheating problems, and check engine light diagnostics
• Conduct routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, tune-ups)
• Inspect and test vehicles to ensure quality repairs
• Perform minor electrical repairs (power windows, mirrors, door locks, switches)
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and work efficiently within a team

-You don't need to be a master at everything but a good since of knowledge.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with structural/frame identification knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues independently
• Must have your own tools and scanner (this is not an entry-level or lube tech position)
