GMC Danvers is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our busy shop.

Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $65,000-$135,000
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair vehicles as requested
- Service vehicles in a timely manner for routine scheduled maintenance in accordance with dealer and manufacturer recommendations
- Communicate with the designated Service Manager or Advisor on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work on vehicles
- Keep up with required knowledge and skills in automotive maintenance by attending workshops, seminars or other classes to help ensure the work completed is of the highest quality
- Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when working with all tools and equipment
- Adhere to best practices when working in the automotive service environment by reporting any accidents or incidents to management as soon as possible
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as an auto technician in a dealership or shop environment
- ASE/OEM certification , but not required
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position
- Must have own tools
- Team oriented
