Automotive Mechanic / Technician in Sunnyvale California

Family Owned Business 50 years since 1975

Schedule:

8 hour shift Mon - Friday 8am - 5pm (closed weekends and most holidays)

Responsibilities and Skills / Jobs needed to performed include:

General Maintenance / Mileage Interval Servicing, Check engine light diagnosis, replacement of Timing Belts, starters, alternators, radiators, brake system components, suspension, CV joint/axles, power steering pumps, steering rack replacements etc etc. Occasional Engine or Transmission replacements (no engine or transmission rebuilding).

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Qualifications:

Previous Automotive repair & maintenance experience, 5+ yrs required
Must have your own tools, (specialty tools available to use or share)
ASE certifications / Degree , but NOT needed
Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment, scanners etc.
Valid driver's license with clean record (we do drug testing at time
Able to read, write and comprehend instructions in English
Professional appearance and work ethic
Able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment and work well with others
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs as needed

Our Technicians/Mechanics need to work as a team. We all get along very well here, and joking around etc IS totally acceptable! We try to not cause a high stress job or environment!
