Responsibilities:

At Crossroads Automotive, you'll be at the forefront of automotive excellence. As a Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnosing and Fixing Vehicles: Utilize your extensive knowledge and skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our valued customers.
• Quality Workmanship: Perform a wide range of accurate automotive diagnoses and repairs with precision and quality workmanship.
• Continuous Learning: Build experience as an automotive mechanic across various domestic and foreign vehicles, keeping your skills sharp.
• Digital Vehicle Inspections: Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy digital vehicle inspections to ensure transparency and trust with our customers.
• Team Collaboration: Work as part of a dynamic team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively.
• Safety and Standards: Follow and promote our high safety, cleanliness, and organization standards in all aspects of your work.
• Customer Communication: Work closely with the service department, effectively communicating customer concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Problem-Solving: Collaborate with fellow Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results.

Qualifications:

• Positive Attitude: Bring a positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve our customers.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• NC State Inspector License: but not mandatory.
• Versatility: Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
• Drive and Ability: Have the drive and ability to flag 40-50+ hours per week.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledgeable of reflashing/reprogramming processes and all vehicle systems.
• Diagnostic Skills: Demonstrated expertise in areas such as driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems for both domestic and import vehicles.
• Continuous Learning: Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes to stay at the forefront of automotive technology.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• Long-Term Career Focus: A desire for long-term career development within our team.
• Driver's License: Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasionally lift or move over 100 pounds.
• Work with tools on vehicles raised above your head.
• Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
• Dexterity: Have the dexterity required to use hand tools efficiently.
• Mobility: Walk/stand for the majority of your workday.
• Manual Transmissions: Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Computer Skills: Efficiently navigate a computer.
