Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on a wide range of vehicles. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Inspect and replace air filters, batteries, belts, hoses, wiper blades, and light bulbs
• Mount, balance, and repair tires
• Perform brake services, including pad and rotor replacement
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections
• Assist with diagnosing basic vehicle issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Use diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer service procedures
• Communicate findings and service recommendations to service advisors or managers
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ year of automotive experience (but not required for entry-level)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude
• ASE certifications a plus, or willingness to obtain
