Automotive Export Coordinator in Warren

Job Summary

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned export accounts, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to manage the full Order-to-Delivery (OTD) process. This role focuses on resolving issues, improving processes, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery for export markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track export orders throughout the Order-to-Delivery (OTD) lifecycle
• Communicate with customers on order issues, changes, rejections, and cancellations
• Monitor and report on Manufacturing Validation Builds (MVBs) and product launch readiness
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, product teams, and offshore plants to resolve order and shipment issues
• Coordinate logistics activities including invoicing, reconsignments, and special shipments
• Analyze and report on order status, delays, and production issues; escalate risks as needed
• Support system access and troubleshooting for export customers (e.g., order tracking and reporting tools)
• Assist with shipment coordination and respond to logistics-related inquiries
• Generate and interpret reports across multiple internal systems
• Participate in regular meetings with internal teams and international markets
• Provide backup support for critical team functions as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with logistics/export
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders
• Adaptable, solution-oriented, and collaborative mindset
• Familiarity with order management and logistics systems is a plus
