This role is critical to ensuring the reliable installation and functionality of electrical systems and equipment on light and medium duty trucks. Projects primarily include installing lighting systems, truck mounted attenuators (TMAs), and various traffic safety equipment.

Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and repair 12V electrical systems on commercial vehicles.Wire and mount lighting systems, control panels, and warning devices.Build wiring harnesses for lighting systems and control boxes.Make custom brackets to mount lights/strobes, controllers, and distribution boxes.Install truck mounted attenuators and other vehicle-mounted safety systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.Perform quality control checks and safety inspections on completed installations.Diagnose and repair customers’ lighting/electrical systems, truck-mounted attenuators, and various other traffic safety equipment.Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines and project specifications.Operate a forklift for transporting materials.Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely.Lift and carry merchandise as needed.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Keep warehouse, including inventory, neat and orderly.Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities.Assist with inventory counts.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.Shift: Monday – Friday; 6AM – 2:30PM plus overtime as needed.Qualifications2+ years of experience in automotive electrical work or related field (vocational training considered)Strong knowledge of 12V systems, relays, fuses, and wiring standardsExperience with upfitting or outfitting work vehicles is a plusAbility to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyAbility to read and interpret technical documents and schematicsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shiftMust be able to lift, bend, sit, and stand for 8 – 10 hours per dayMust take direction well and work well within a teamPreferred SkillsExperience installing TMAs, emergency lighting, or traffic safety equipmentASE or EVT certifications are a plusWelding or fabrication experience a bonus
