Automation Test Engineer - Ipswich (on-site)

Marshall Wolfe hiring consultancy are supporting our client within the technology sector, who are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to support the development and testing of next- connectivity products and services.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Develop and maintain Python-based automation test scripts.

\n

• Maintain and enhance CPE platform test environments.

\n

• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues.

\n

• Support Agile delivery squads and quality assurance activities.

\n

• Use JIRA, Scrum and Wiki tools to track project delivery.

\n

• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

\n

\n

Required Skills & Experience

\n

\n
• Strong Python experience.

\n

• Knowledge of Linux, Docker, virtual machines and containerisation.

\n

• Experience with CPE platform test environments.

\n

• Knowledge of Git, GitLab, JIRA and CI/CD tools.

\n

• Experience working within Agile environments.

\n

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

\n

\n

Desirable Experience

\n

\n
• Broadband and networking technologies including xDSL, FTTP, IPv4/IPv6, Wi-Fi, PPP and UPnP.

\n

• 4G/5G mobile networks.

\n

• RF fundamentals and wireless networking concepts.

\n

\n

\n

Duration: 6 months | Contract: Inside IR35 | Based: Ipswich (on-site)
