Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong automation and controls experience to support, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machinery, robotics, and other automated equipment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly automated environment and wants to work on state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.

You will spend approximately 80–90% of your time troubleshooting and resolving electrical, controls, and PLC-related issues, and the remainder performing mechanical maintenance and repairs. This is a critical role that directly impacts equipment uptime, production efficiency, and overall plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with CNC machines, robotics, sensors, HMIs, VFDs, and other automated systems.
• Modify and make edits to PLC programs (primarily Allen-Bradley using ladder logic).
• Support and maintain 6-axis robots (primarily Fanuc) and CNC equipment (HAAS and Mazak).
• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment as needed.
• Implement upgrades, assist with new automation technologies, and ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and adhere to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• 2–5 years of experience in industrial automation OR a recent associate’s degree in mechatronics, industrial automation, manufacturing technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on PLC troubleshooting and editing experience (Allen-Bradley ).
• Experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment with robotics and controls exposure.
• Understanding of ladder logic and working with sensors, HMIs, and VFDs.

Nice-to-Have:

• Mechanical aptitude or military background with exposure to hydraulics and pneumatics.
• CNC machine experience (HAAS, Mazak, or similar).
• Experience programming PLCs from scratch.
• Strong accountability and team-oriented mindset.

Additional Details:

• Overtime: Typically every other Saturday (mandatory, with 48-hour notice).
• Projected Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Sidney, OH
• Compensation: $33.36/hr + $1/hr shift differential (2nd & 3rd shift) + quarterly profit-sharing bonus
  Shifts:
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
