We are seeking a Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a crucial role in building, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting automation and control systems while providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires a strong background in electrical and control systems and customer service, as well as the ability to work independently in the field. Keys to success will be the individual's knowledge of automated systems, the skills needed to maintain, repair and troubleshoot those systems, and the ability to effectively interact with fellow team members and customers.

Required Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience/training as it relates automation
  • Proven safety record in past work history
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, Excel, IP addresses, Network settings, etc.
  • Programming/troubleshooting experience with industrial automation hardware and software systems including PLC's, HMI's and SCADA systems
  • Electrical systems - Three phase systems, motor controls, electrical wiring, AC drives, DC controllers
  • Math and reading comprehension to understand and interpret technical manuals, bulletins, blueprints and schematics
  • A background in E & I projects will be considered an asset.
