Automation Engineer/Line Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Technician to support production line operations in a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse environment. The Line Technician is responsible for ensuring efficient machine operation, troubleshooting equipment, recommending equipment improvements, repairing broken down equipment, and generally supporting production goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor production line machinery and equipment.

• Perform regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance or repairs.

• Ensure that materials and components are loaded properly and meet quality standards.

• Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and minimize downtime.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.

• Accurately document production data, downtime, and maintenance activities.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Assist with training new employees or cross-training team members when required.

• Communicate with maintenance and quality teams regarding recurring issues or quality concerns.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training .

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, manuals, and production documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills:

• Experience with automated machinery or production line equipment.

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

• Forklift certification is a plus.
