Automation Engineer – Collaborative Robotics (Cobots)

Your Role:

  

As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle, from design to commissioning. Your responsibilities will include:

  

• Designing and developing Cobot applications using CAD and virtual simulations

• Creating customised mechanical solutions based on project requirements

• Developing electrical designs, including component selection and circuit layouts

• Programming and integrating industrial devices such as PLCs, safety scanners, vision systems, and sensors

• Creating electrical schematics and implementing control circuits

• Programming Cobots and ensuring seamless hardware/software integration

• Overseeing manufacturing processes and supporting the build phase

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery

• Installing and commissioning Cobots at customer sites

• Providing ongoing support to maintain high customer satisfaction

  

What We’re Looking For:

  

• Degree in Mechatronics, Controls Engineering, or a related field

• Basic CAD and simulation experience

• Familiarity with programming and electrical systems

• Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

• Passion for innovation and a proactive approach

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required

• Experience with Robotics or Cobots ()

• Knowledge of Java and/or Python (a plus)
