Automation Engineer

Location: Northampton - 5 Days on Site | Rate: £491.07/day (umbrella rate) | IR35: Inside 

Length: 12 months | Start: ASAP or within 4 weeks



We're urgently looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our clients elite engineering team, working exclusively within advanced technologies (not F1).



Key Skills Required:

Expert-level programming in Beckhoff TwinCAT and KUKA Robotics



Strong background in automation, manufacturing processes, and production machine commissioning



Ability to design, develop and validate automation software from scratch



Experience working with internal combustion engines, electric machines, and batteries



Ideal Candidate:

BEng or higher in a relevant field



Sharp, analytical mindset with high attention to detail



Passionate, adaptable, and thrives in fast-paced R&D/manufacturing environments



Excellent communication and collaboration skills
