We have an opening for an experienced Automation Engineer at our Development Center in Lebanon, Ohio! This Automation Engineer will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to execute both capital and process improvement projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Maintenance and Engineering teams in the aspects of controls, electrical, and instrumentation
- Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure efficiency, work safety, and GMP compliance in accordance with MANE and all relevant regulatory standards
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep accurate maintenance records
- Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required
- Ability to troubleshoot Robot, Vision systems, PLC, HMI, VFD, and Instrumentation
- Knowledge of SCADA and Historian systems.
- Design, detail, specify and build equipment as required to support project timelines for both Engineering and Maintenance
- Support project teams in development of project scopes and objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans in conjunction with project sponsors
- Serve as mentor and guide for Maintenance Controls and Electrical team
- Always maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations
- Drive and assist with set up of new processes and equipment. Monitor control outputs and quality results against expected outcomes
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Management will support and facilitate education, training and action within their teams to effectively and adequately implement environmental policies, procedures and practices, as well as promote continual improvement consistent with environmental objectives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering degree w/2-5 years of experience OR 2-year degree (Electromechanical or similar) with 10+ years of relevant experience
- 5 years of previous manufacturing experience
