Qualifications

• BSEE or BSME preferred
• 3-5 years of experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC
• Robot Programing experience, Motoman and Wittmann preferred
• Experience with Cognex and Keyence vision systems
• Proficient in Solidworks and Inventor
• Understanding of and experience in plastics injection molding preferred

Job Responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot existing robot and PLC programs
• Program cameras for vision inspection to catch defects on parts
• Design, build and maintain end of arm tooling
• Participate in new product launch activities related to automation and work cell set up
• Support and assist Automation Techs with repair to EOA tooling
• Participate in continual improvement activities including but not limited to: work cell layout improvements, developing standards for new equipment, maintaining plant layouts, etc
• Identify and correct inefficiencies with current processes
• Other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager

Requirements

• Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be able to use basic tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, etc
• Must have a valid drivers license and willing to commute between facilities
