Job Summary:

• We’re seeking a skilled Automation & Controls Technician to support and enhance our food production operations. In this key role, you’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems to ensure peak equipment performance, minimize downtime, and uphold food safety standards.

Job Duties:

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, automation equipment, and instrumentation
• Program and configure Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs for seamless integration
• Collaborate on system upgrades and process improvements
• Execute and refine preventive maintenance on control systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and food quality regulations
• Support and train operators on automation systems

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in an automation/controls role in manufacturing (food )
• Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
• Experience with electrical schematics, instrumentation, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and SAP PM is a plus
