Nor-Cal Controlsprovides controls solutions for utility-scale renewable energy power plants and we are looking for anAutomation Engineer Ito join our talented team! As anAutomation Engineer I, you will take ownership of assigned projects, with specific focus on design and development. You will also be responsible for handling SCADA project-related tasks of intermediate scope and complexity. This role is open to in-office, hybrid work, or remote options with a salary range of $95,000 - $105,000 annually*.

What will a successful Automation Engineer accomplish in the first year?

• Provide excellent customer service, including same day response to customer emails or calls.
• Commission solar PV SCADA projects.
• Consistently meet Nor-Cals Core Values.

experience:

• Engineering B.S. degree (Automation, Controls, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar), or equivalent experience.
  
• 1- 3 years of experience designing and developing SCADA systems for utility-scale solar PV projects.
• Professional knowledge of SCADA, process instrumentation, PLC programming, and control systems.
• Possesses a positive can do attitude and a strong motivation to learn and excel.
