Huber Cabinet Works is looking for a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our team! We are a custom architectural millwork company located in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, specializing in high-end commercial interiors. Our team partners with Chicago’s top general contractors to create custom millwork for some of the world's most recognized brands.

Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate and detailed fabrication drawings for custom millwork projects.
• Interpret and review architectural plans, elevations, and sections to create shop drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, shop personnel, and field carpenters to ensure designs align with site conditions and production needs.
• Revise shop drawings based on architectural comments, field measurements, and site details.
• Optimize designs to improve efficiency and minimize production challenges.

Qualifications:

• Experience in millwork/casework drafting ().
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microvellum (BSolid experience is a plus).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of assembly details.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
