An energetic and motivated Full-Time Automotive Technician/ mechanic to join our Team. Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you have unlimited career potential? This position reports directly to the Dealership Principal and service manager. PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE!

Duties:

• Compile and perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Ability to diagnose and perform repair
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Communicate additional mechanical work needed. If work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• New arrival road test, inspections on varying makes and models, foreign and domestic
• Inspects and test drives all aged and auction vehicles
• Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor
• Keeps shop area neat and clean
• Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
• Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Reliable attendance for scheduled shift
• Other duties may be assigned.
