The Opportunity
As part of the firm’s ongoing growth strategy, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Audit professional to join at Senior Manager or Director level, with a clear pathway to Partnership.
This is a strategic role for a technically strong and commercially minded leader, responsible for managing key client relationships, driving quality, and helping shape the future of the firm’s Audit practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage a varied portfolio of audit clients across sectors including manufacturing, wholesale, charities, and financial services (typically £10m–£60m turnover).
• Work closely with Partners to develop and implement the firm’s audit strategy and growth plans.
• Build strong client relationships, providing proactive commercial insight and technical expertise.
• Support business development, identifying and converting new opportunities.
• Mentor and develop audit teams, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
• Ensure all audits are delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Requirements
• ACA/ACCA qualified with extensive experience in Audit & Assurance.
• Current or aspiring RI, ideally within a Top 100 practice.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and client portfolios.
• Strong technical grounding and understanding of regulatory standards.
• Ambitious, commercially astute, and driven to progress to Partnership.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
