The role offers strong client exposure, team leadership responsibilities and clear progression opportunities.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs an Audit Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of audit clients across a broad range of industries, managing assignments from planning through to completion while acting as a key point of contact for clients and the wider team.\n\nYou will play a significant role in reviewing work, mentoring junior staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\nManaging a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors\n\nLeading audit assignments from planning through to completion\n\nReviewing statutory accounts and associated audit files\n\nEnsuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP standards\n\nProviding practical guidance to clients on regulatory and compliance matters\n\nReviewing work completed by junior team members and providing coaching and technical support\n\nManaging workflow, deadlines and team resourcing effectively\n\nBuilding and maintaining strong long-term client relationships\n\nSupporting Partners with ad-hoc advisory and business development projects\n\nPlaying an active role in developing and mentoring junior members of the audit team\n\nRequirementsThe Ideal Candidate\n\nThe successful candidate will likely have:\n\nACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification\n\nStrong experience within an audit-focused role in a UK accountancy practice\n\nGood working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP\n\nExperience managing audits across a broad range of industries\n\nProven experience reviewing work and mentoring junior staff\n\nStrong communication and client management skills\n\nThe ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively\n\nA proactive and commercial approach to client service\n\nBenefitsWhat’s on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary dependent on experience\n\nStrong progression opportunities within a growing practice\n\nVaried and interesting audit client portfolio\n\nSupportive and collaborative working environment\n\nOngoing professional development and leadership opportunities\n\nFlexible working arrangements where appropriate\n\nFor a confidential conversation about this opportunity, or other accountancy practice roles, please reach out to Kourtney Luckett on (phone number removed), or via .\n\nRefer a Friend...\n\nWe’re keen to remain the leading provider of top accountancy talent in the South East.
