AV Field Service Technician\n\nDigital Signage | Field-Based (Leeds & Surrounding Areas)\n\nField-based role with company van provided\n Salary up to £33,000 + overtime\n Covering Leeds & surrounding areas.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nOur client is looking for a hands-on AV Field Service Technician to join their growing service team, supporting and maintaining Digital Signage and LED display systems across Leeds and nearby regions.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for someone with a technical mindset who enjoys field work, problem-solving, and working independently while being part of a supportive technical team.\n\nWorking Hours\n\nMonday to Friday: 08:30 - 17:30\nOccasional out-of-hours work for planned maintenance\nRota-based reactive maintenance cover \n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nAs an AV Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance, ensuring high-quality repairs and excellent client service.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nServicing and repairing Digital Signage, including:\nStandalone units\nVideo walls\nIndoor & outdoor LED displays\nDiagnosing faults with a "fix-first" mentality\nWorking safely at height using ladders, podiums, and access equipment\nManaging on-site health & safety and maintaining excellent housekeeping\nUsing and maintaining tools, spares, and stock within your company vehicle\nCompleting reports, submitting photographs, and updating your line manager\nManaging work permits, site access, and security requirements\nLone working across multiple sites\nMaintaining strong communication with internal technical teams\nDriving safely, legally, and responsibly at all times \n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nThis role would suit someone from an AV, Digital Signage, Telecoms, or Out-of-Home Advertising background who enjoys practical, field-based work.\n\nEssential experience & knowledge:\n\nExperience with AV, display, or digital signage hardware/software\nComfortable working with electrics and basic electrical installations\nConfident working at height\nGood understanding of networks and IT systems\nFault-finding and diagnostic experience\nFull UK driving licence\nFluent English (spoken & written) \n\nDesirable (but not essential):\n\nIPAF certification\nTelecoms or Out-of-Home Advertising experience \n\nSkills & Behaviours\n\nStrong problem-solving skills\nAble to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently\nFlexible and adaptable\nExcellent communication skills\nA positive, "can-do" attitude\nReliable, punctual, and deadline-focused\nKeen to learn and develop new skills\nTeam-oriented with a strong work ethic \n\nSalary & Benefits\n\n£28,000 - £33,000 per annum (depending on experience)\nOvertime available\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nCompany van provided\nAll tools, PPE, and uniform supplied\nFull training provided\nHealth Shield cover\nRemote working (field-based role)INDAV\n\nInterested?\n\nIf you're an AV or Digital Signage technician looking for a stable, field-based role with excellent support, training, and long-term progression, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nApply now to find out more about this opportunity - (url removed) or call (phone number removed)
