AV Installation Engineer - Digital Signage & Audio Visual\n Location: Manchester (UK-Wide Travel Required)\n Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 + Fully Expensed Travel\n Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time\n\nJoin a Leading Digital Signage & AV Specialist\n\nAn award-winning digital signage and audio-visual consultancy with over 25 years of industry expertise is expanding its engineering team.\n\nWorking with major UK brands across retail, corporate, hospitality and public spaces, this company delivers high-quality AV and digital signage solutions from design through to installation, commissioning and ongoing support.\n\nDue to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, they are now looking to hire a hands-on AV Installation Engineer to join their experienced team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on varied nationwide projects, travelling across the UK, and installing cutting-edge AV technology in high-profile environments.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering digital signage and AV installations at customer sites throughout the UK.\n\nYou will typically work as part of a two-person engineering team, supported by experienced Project Managers and an in-house technical helpdesk, ensuring every project is delivered to a high standard.\n\nThis role involves regular UK travel and overnight stays, all of which are fully expensed by the company. Every project is different, meaning you will gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and environments.
\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nInstallation and commissioning of digital signage and AV hardware\nMounting and installing large-format digital displays and communications systems\nTesting systems to ensure equipment operates correctly and meets specification\nCarrying out fault finding during installation and commissioning\nSupporting additional AV installation and service tasks when required\nWorking closely with Project Managers and fellow engineers to meet project deadlines\nCompleting installation reports and commissioning documentation\nEnsuring all work is carried out safely and professionally on-siteWhat We're Looking For\n\nMinimum 3 years' experience in an AV installation or similar engineering role\nExperience using power tools and carrying out physical installations\nComfortable handling and installing large digital displays\nStrong attention to detail and organisational skills\nGood IT and documentation skills\nProfessional and confident when interacting with customers\nA positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamDesirable (Not Essential)\n\nFull UK Driving Licence\nCSCS Card\nPASMA Certification\nIPAF CertificationWhat's On Offer\n\n£32,000 - £35,000 salary depending on experience\nFully expensed UK travel, accommodation and subsistence\nBranded company clothing and equipment provided\nOpportunity to work on high-profile AV and digital signage projects across the UK\nSupportive team culture within a well-established and growing business\nLong-term career stability and development opportunitiesAbout the Company\n\nThis company has built a strong reputation over more than two decades for delivering high-quality digital signage and AV solutions for well-known UK brands.\n\nTheir engineers are at the heart of their success.
