Audio Video (AV) Automation Technician
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- AV Systems Design
- Install and configure Audio Video control systems
- Building equipment racks
- Firmware updates
- Control system programing
- Audio tuning
- Onsite system provisioning
- Troubleshoot, test and resolve equipment issues.
- Assist in assuring product is ordered for current and upcoming projects
- Installers are required to work on different jobs simultaneously requiring adequate records of task and frequent communications to update Manager.
- Document daily reports and status of jobs
- Maintain control of all company property and ensure that equipment is operating in safe conditions.
- Follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of hands-on A/V installation experience.
- Working Understanding of:
- Audio/Video signaling paths
- Basic control system concepts
- Audio testing and system provisioning
- Basic IP network skills
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
- Low voltage license (L-5 or L-6) a plus but not required.
Training:
- Staff receive vendor training and certification paths to further their baseline skills in systems including:
- Crestron
- Bi Amp
- QSC
- Extron
- Shure
- AutoCad
- D-Tools
COMPENSATION:
- Base Salary: The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year. The final salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
