An established family law firm inSouthern California is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join their respected practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who thrives in the courtroom, enjoys handling complex cases, and is ready to take on a leadership role within a collaborative team environment.

About the Role

You will represent clients in high-stakes family law matters, many of which involve intricate financial and business issues. The role requires confidence in trial work, strong advocacy skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse client personalities. In addition to trial responsibilities, you will serve as a mentor and leader to junior attorneys and staff.

This position is based in Orange County with a hybrid schedule. While the preference is for an in-office presence of 2–3 days per week, the firm is open to fully remote candidates elsewhere inCalifornia who bring significant experience in family law and trial practice.

What You'll Do

• Litigate and try family law cases, including those involving complex financial and custody issues
• Appear in court regularly for hearings, settlement conferences, and trials
• Provide strategic case planning and ensure thorough trial preparation
• Oversee and guide a team of associates, paralegals, and legal assistants
• Communicate effectively with clients and safeguard their interests with professionalism and compassion

What You Bring

• Active California Bar membership
• Proven experience in family law litigation and trial work
• Strong courtroom presence and knowledge of California family law statutes and procedures
• Ability to manage complex cases and lead a team effectively
• A passion for client advocacy and dedication to achieving favorable outcomes

Compensation & Benefits

• The firm offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary up to $200,000 DOE, plus bonus opportunities. Benefits include fully covered health insurance, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid vacation and sick time, and life insurance.
