Community School of Naples, an independent, college preparatory school, is currently seeking an Athletic Fields Technician.

CSN’s has a beautifully landscaped 77-acre campus with many athletic and practice fields, including the new John N. Allen All Sports Stadium with sustainable turf. The Athletic Field Technician will perform day-to-day, hands-on maintenance of our athletic fields.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Execute maintenance of athletic fields, natural grass and synthetic surfaces, and common areas with regards to safety, playability, and aesthetics.
• Perform outdoor tasks including mowing, edging, and painting field lines.
• Assist the Facilities Department with maintenance of field facilities.
• Follow all safety procedures including OSHA requirements set forth by supervisor.
• Must speak, understand, and read English.
• This full time, year-round position may include seasonal schedule variations, including occasional weekends, based on the monitoring needs of various systems, including irrigation and pumping systems.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience in landscaping, athletic fields experience . Training may be available for athletic field specific duties.
• Strong knowledge of use, maintenance and repair of various landscaping equipment is a must.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.

This position is paid commensurate with experience and license.
