Associate Thermal Nights

The Thermal Associate reports to the Thermal Manager and plays a crucial role in operating equipment within the Insulbar Department. This position is ideal for individuals with keen attention to detail and a desire to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

Performing and documenting quality checks during the Insulbar process, reporting issues to technicians or leads

Assisting technicians with locating and moving parts and strut for setups

Verifying parts against die prints to ensure they meet assembly requirements

Loading and unloading material onto and from the conveyor, setting up and operating strut machines

Reporting strut usage on production reports

Assisting technicians with loading and unloading completed parts

Cutting samples, conducting shear tests, and recording results

Ensuring proper counting and tagging of materials

Taping parts and cutting strut as needed

Qualifications:

Ability to follow written instructions and tracking information accurately

Ability to recognize poor metal quality related to finish or metal itself

Basic mathematical skills

High level of initiative and ability to work independently

Occasional ability to distinguish shades of for quality verification

Adaptability to constant change
