Associate Technical Architect

Brooksource is seeking an Associate Technical Architect (Junior Technical Architect) to support a Global Fortune 500 consulting client within the telecommunications industry. This role focuses on contributing to the design and implementation of scalable, cloud- solutions, supporting modernization efforts and Generative AI (GenAI) initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain exposure to enterprise architecture practices, working alongside senior architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 1+ years of experience (internships or co-ops included) in software engineering, systems engineering, cloud, or solution design
• Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go)
• Foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts (compute, storage, networking, IAM) and modern application patterns (APIs, microservices)
• Familiarity with DevOps fundamentals, including version control, CI/CD concepts, and basic logging/monitoring practices

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing system architecture across application, data, and infrastructure layers
• Support the development of high-level and low-level design documentation (HLD/LLD)
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices
• Participate in API design, system integration, and microservices architecture discussions
• Contribute to cloud architecture initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including deployment models and resource optimization
